oracle Multicloud Revenue is growing at a rate of 1,529%, but Chief Executive Larry Ellison believes the multicloud business is just starting to take off, with the majority of that growth coming from Microsoft Azure, while the Google Cloud and AWS multicloud businesses are just starting to take off.
Ellison made the observation during Oracle’s recent financial analysts meeting during a discussion about whether Oracle’s database business could reach $20 billion in revenue in five years. Ellison drew laughter from the crowd by saying he didn’t want to appear overly optimistic in front of an audience of financial analysts, and said that customers’ strong urgency to fully participate in the AI revolution would certainly drive demand for Oracle’s multicloud business.
