Oracle is cutting more than 700 jobs in California as part of a massive wave of layoffs

After one massive layoffs in 2025Tech giant Oracle has once again laid off thousands of its employees, including hundreds of employees at four California offices.

As of March 31, more than 700 employees There have been layoffs across California, according to WARN documents filed April 1 with the Employment Development Department.

The company laid off 50 employees at its Santa Monica office and over 180 at its Santa Clara office. SFGATE has already reported on this more than 150 layoffs last week at the Pleasanton office. The company also laid off approximately 300 employees at its Redwood City location. The office was located at 500 Oracle Parkway the company headquarters before moving to Austin in 2020. The company began construction another move to Nashville in 2026.
