Oracle is considering significant job cuts, potentially cutting 20,000 to 30,000 jobs, as the company faces challenges in securing funding for its artificial intelligence (AI) data centers.

According to investment bank TD Cowen, the US technology company aims to generate cash flow of between $8 billion and $10 billion from these cuts. Additionally, Oracle is exploring the sale of Cerner, its healthcare software division, which it acquired in 2022 for $28.3 billion.
