US-based technology giant Oracle Corp. announced in a social media post on Monday, February 2, 2026 that the deal between other major technology giants such as Nvidia and OpenAI does not affect the company’s financial relationship with the company Sam Altmanmanaged company.
The company also mentioned that it remains confident that OpenAI can raise funds over the next five years to meet its financial obligations under the $300 billion ordering plan.
“The NVIDIA-OpenAI deal has no impact on our financial relationship with OpenAI. We remain highly confident in OpenAI’s ability to raise funds and meet its obligations,” Oracle said in a social media post on X.
This comes after the company reportedly plans to cut up to 30,000 jobs to fund its AI data center plans. Oracle also said it plans to raise between $45 billion and $50 billion in 2026 to build additional capacity for its cloud infrastructure investment plan.
