Oracle announces the resignation of two most senior directors and reduces the size of its board to 12

oracle said Friday that two longtime directors, both octogenarians, have resigned from the board.

George Conrades, former CEO of a content network distribution company Akamaiis leaving the company along with Naomi Seligman, a senior partner at Simson’s technology research firm Ostriker, Oracle said in a statement submission. Conrades, 86, has been on the board for 18 years. Seligman, 87, joined the board in 2005.

“None of the resignations were the result of a dispute or disagreement with Oracle on a matter related to Oracle’s operations, policies or practices,” the company said. The board now consists of 12 directors.
