Oracle made about $150 billion in data center leasing commitments in the three months ended November, the company disclosed in securities filings late last week. This is a sign that it is preparing for the cloud contracts that customers like OpenAI have signed with Oracle. The filing showed that as of Nov. 30, Oracle had $248 billion in lease obligations, “substantially all related to data centers and the cloud.”
