Oracle@Google Cloud Database allows customers direct access to Oracle database services running on OCI within Google Cloud data centers. Customers can take advantage of flexible migration options, simplified purchasing, and contracting experiences, and unified customer support through Google Cloud and Oracle.
The partnership will also see Oracle operate and manage Oracle Database services in Google Cloud data centers globally, starting with regions in North America and Europe, with further expansion planned. Oracle Interconnect for Google Cloud provides customers with a private inter-connect between OCI and Google Cloud regions without data transfer charges, allowing for low latency and high-performance network connectivity.
