Vertiv shares are soaring after the digital infrastructure firm turned in strong quarterly results and raised its outlook.

Shares of Vertiv (VRT) were up 14% in recent trading, leading gainers on the S&P 500. The company reported adjusted earnings of $2.21 per share in the third quarter on revenue that grew more than 60% year-over-year to $4.31 billion. Both figures were well above estimates compiled by Visible Alpha.

The Nvidia (NVDA) partner, which makes data center products including power and cooling equipment, said it expects fourth-quarter revenue of $4.31 billion to $4.51 billion and adjusted EPS between $2.22 and $2.28, with the midpoint of each range topping consensus projections. Vertiv also lifted its full-year forecasts on “strong, broad-based global demand.”

“We are in the middle of the largest infrastructure buildout and it’s accelerating,” Vertiv CEO Giordano Albertazzi said in a release. “The demands on data center infrastructure are evolving faster than ever, and Vertiv’s role in that buildout keeps expanding.”

With Wednesday’s rally, Vertiv shares are up 45% since the start of the year, but remain nearly 40% off a record high set back in May.
