Introduction: Nvidia can’t wow Wall Street with a blockbuster quarter

What does a technology company have to do these days to see its stock price rise?
Nvidia Perhaps the company is asking itself that question after reporting strong earnings and solid growth guidance last night, only to receive a shrug from Wall Street.
The chipmaker certainly had another extremely strong quarter – posting record quarterly revenue of $68.1 billion from October to December 2025, up 20% compared to the third quarter of last year and a whopping 73% more than a year earlier.
The company said sales were being driven by accelerated computing and AI, and customers were scrambling to get their hands on the powerful Blackwell chip.
