NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang reportedly backed the AI mission of Donald Trump’s administration with a $1 billion investment in computing power and pledged to deliver Super Intelligence for ‘America’s scientists.’ On October 8, 2026, the Trump administration announced during the White House’s summit, Science: A New Golden Age, that they would broaden the Genesis Mission to 14 more federal agencies. According to Politico, Huang responded,

“With a $1 billion investment, NVIDIA is putting advanced Super Intelligence in the hands of ‘America’s scientists’ to accelerate breakthroughs in medicine, energy, and materials.”

The expansion of the Genesis Mission includes $1 billion in computing power from NVIDIA over 5 years and $200 million from OpenAI in token discounts and training programs for scientists. Apart from these two, the program also includes $150 million over 3 years to access Anthropic’s Claude and $50 million in cloud credits from Amazon Web Services.
