Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT), Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA) and Anthropic outlined a major partnership Tuesday that includes strategic investments and a long-term compute pact.

Nvidia and Microsoft plan to invest up to $10 billion and up to $5 billion, respectively, while Anthropic agreed to commit roughly $30 billion of spending on Microsoft Azure and to contract additional compute capacity up to one gigawatt.

The investments value Anthropic at about $350 billion, according to media reports, up from a $183 billion valuation after a September $13 billion raise.

Anthropic’s frontier Claude models, Claude Sonnet 4.5, Claude Opus 4.1 and Claude Haiku 4.5 will be available on Microsoft’s Azure AI Foundry, making Claude accessible across the top three cloud platforms.

Nvidia and Anthropic will also work to optimize those models for future Nvidia architectures and to use Anthropic’s Grace Blackwell and Vera Rubin systems within the compute commitment.

For investors, the deal signals deepening collaboration in AI and cloud infrastructure, potentially boosting growth prospects for MSFT and NVDA, though the large commitments also carry execution and valuation risks.
