Starting August 1, Sven Schoenaerts will assume the role of senior director of channel sales EMEA.

In this position, Schoenaerts will oversee all EMEA regional channel sales leaders and refine Nutanix’s routes to market.

“Partners have been fundamental to Nutanix’s success,” Schoenaerts remarked.

“I am excited to build on my experience with service providers and hyperscalers to drive future growth.”

Schoenaerts, who joined Nutanix in January 2022, has a robust background with Amazon Web Services, NetApp, and Brocade Communications, and holds an International MBA from Vlerick Business School.

Chris De Vere, effective August 1, will lead Nutanix’s EMEA MSP efforts, focusing on consolidating sales resources and developing new service provider opportunities.

De Vere, who recently moved from VMware where he led MSP SaaS business across EMEA, brings over 24 years of experience, including a substantial period at IBM.

“I’m thrilled to join Nutanix and build a team that fosters innovative thinking and effective partnerships,” De Vere stated.

Additionally, Philippe Dosset has been appointed to lead the EMEA OEM & alliances team, also starting August 1.

Based in Paris, Dosset will drive new business opportunities through alliances and OEM partnerships.

“I am eager to collaborate with our sales and marketing teams to enhance our partner relationships and drive revenue growth,” Dosset commented.

He joined Nutanix last year as channel director for France, EMEA South, and North West Africa, bringing 27 years of IT experience from Dell, where he held various executive roles in sales and partner management.

Dave Gwyn, SVP of worldwide channels at Nutanix, expressed his enthusiasm for the new appointments.

“These strategic hires are crucial as we enhance our channel sales capabilities and partner ecosystem across EMEA,” Gwyn said. “We are confident that Sven, Chris, and Philippe will contribute significantly to our ongoing success.”
