NTT INDYCAR SERIES and IMS Announce Official Partnership with Cisco

Penske Entertainment has partnered with Cisco to integrate Cisco’s technology solutions into the company’s operations, making Cisco an official partner of INDYCAR and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. This collaboration will involve leveraging Cisco’s networking infrastructure, collaboration tools, cloud management, and more to enhance business connectivity and security. The partnership will also explore opportunities for technology enhancement and the use of Webex collaboration technology for fan engagement and press interviews.

Cisco will also become the presenting sponsor of the NTT INDYCAR Series Business Hub, a customer hospitality area at featured events during the 2024 season. The NTT INDYCAR SERIES Business Hub presented by Cisco will host technology forums and roundtables focused on information technology at major races, including the Indianapolis 500, the Chevrolet Grand Prix of Detroit, and the Big Machine Music City Grand Prix.

Penske Entertainment Corp. President and CEO Mark Miles expressed excitement about welcoming Cisco to the NTT INDYCAR SERIES, highlighting their shared focus on innovation and customer service. The partnership aims to enhance fan experiences and advance the sport by leveraging each other’s strengths.

This partnership reflects Cisco’s expertise in the sports and entertainment industry, where they connect and protect venues, teams, events, and organizations worldwide. Examples of their work in this sector include collaborations with Formula 1’s McLaren Racing, the Olympic and Paralympic Games, Real Madrid FC, and the National Soccer League.

The announcement comes ahead of the 108th Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge on May 26, which will be broadcast live on NBC and Peacock. The event will also be covered by the INDYCAR Radio Network through the INDYCAR app powered by NTT DATA, Cisco Global Gold Integrator, and SiriusXM channel 218.
