Microsoft Copilot AI posted a winning record making its Week 13 NFL picks, but the chatbot’s performance wasn’t as strong as usual.
Copilot posted a record of just 9-7 straight up in a week that was highlighted by upsets. Notably, the chatbot failed to correctly pick any of the NFL’s Thanksgiving or Black Friday games, as all four games were won by underdogs, while Copilot has typically sided with favorites when given the opportunity.
The good news for Copilot is that it finished the week strong, picking the correct winners in “Sunday Night Football” and “Monday Night Football.” That will give it some momentum going into Week 14, as USA TODAY Sports continues its experiment having Copilot pick all of the NFL’s games in 2025.
