Void Acoustics has implemented innovative audio technology at Hewlett-Packard Enterprise’s new campus in Texas to enhance collaboration and communication. The campus, located in Story, Texas, was constructed over two years and spans 440,000 square feet with five-story buildings. It features over 70 meeting rooms and flexible spaces to promote creativity and effective communication.

The goal of the campus is to serve as a cutting-edge collaboration space with a focus on hybrid work for HPE’s 2,200 employees and visitors. Void Acoustics was brought in to replicate the advanced design and immersive experience acoustically. The outdoor space was also designed to transition from a sports bar to a large-scale event venue, accommodating various activities with exceptional sound quality provided by Void Acoustics.

ie Smart Systems recognized HPE’s need for powerful sound on the bustling campus and recommended Void Acoustics based on their impressive speakers at a Houston restaurant. Both Smart Systems and HPE were pleased with the final result. Jeff Vinklarek, senior vice president of professional services at ie Smart Systems, praised Void’s speakers for their exceptional sound quality and power, particularly noting the impressive performance in outdoor spaces.

The installation of the audio system was challenging due to the need for powerful sound in a busy outdoor environment without compromising fidelity. Speakers were strategically placed around a glass walkway beneath a massive screen, resulting in an integrated audio system that exceeded project objectives. The campus now boasts state-of-the-art speakers from Void Acoustics, creating a dynamic atmosphere.

The basketball court is equipped with Nexus 6 speakers, subwoofers, and Air Vantage speakers, while the central courtyard screen is complemented by Nexus 6 speakers. The sports bar features Tri Motion Air Series subwoofers and speakers, all contributing to a vibrant sound experience on campus.

In addition to the audio impact, HPE also integrated advanced intelligent systems technology for hybrid working in other areas of the campus. The interactive and immersive space showcases HPE products and capabilities, providing a unique experience for visitors. Features include interactive gaming areas, walk-through displays, information kiosks, a theater with a curved video wall and surround sound, an ice house, and more.

The campus environment supports a variety of events and activities, emphasizing innovation and sustainability. Overall, the collaboration between Void Acoustics, ie Smart Systems, and HPE has resulted in a technologically advanced and engaging space for employees and visitors alike.
