New Intel laptops with Lunar Lake “Core Ultra 200V” to be released in September; Arrow Lake “Core Ultra 200” CPUs coming in October

Intel is set to release their next-generation CPUs, Lunar Lake and Lake Arrow “Core Ultra 200”, in September and October, respectively. Useful Life reported that there was a delay in the Lunar Lake CPUs, but Intel clarified that they are on track for a third-quarter release targeting the holiday season.

The Lunar Lake “Core Ultra 200V” CPUs are designed for thin and light laptops and are expected to be available in retail stores in September. The formal launch is scheduled for September 25, aligning with Intel’s Innovation Event on September 24. These CPUs will compete with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Strix Point, which is set to launch in July.

In addition to the Lunar Lake CPUs, Intel is also planning to release Arrow Lake-S desktop CPUs in October. The report also mentions commercial Lunar Lake offerings in January 2025, along with Arrow Lake-S non-K desktop CPUs.
