ATLANTA – Governor Brian Kemp has announced a joint initiative between the Technical College System of Georgia, the Georgia Department of Education, the Technology Association of Georgia, and Amazon Web Services to provide cloud computing education and training to 5,500 students across the country by 2024. Through this initiative, Georgia high schools and technical colleges will offer cloud computing courses and degrees tailored to the skills required to pursue in-demand technical careers.

“The technology industry in Georgia is growing rapidly with exciting job opportunities for Georgians,” Kemp said in a press release. “This collaboration with AWS will ensure our citizens have access to innovative education and training to prepare them for tech jobs in Georgia.”
