South Korea plans to launch an AI platform for agricultural products in 2026 as part of a broader effort to integrate AI into public services. The system compares prices in real time and assesses supply conditions to guide consumers and farmers to efficient purchasing decisions.
Officials expect the approach to improve transparency in a sector that is often highly responsive to shifts in demand.
An initiative that is part of a package of ten AI-led projects confirmed by a new government advisory group of science and technology officials.
