7 Sep (Reuters) – Netflix Inc (NFLX.O) is trying to better control rising cloud computing costs with longtime cloud partner Amazon Web Services as part of its efforts to reduce overall costs, the Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday, citing people familiar with that work.

The streaming giant is also hiring more junior staff, reducing its real estate footprint and reducing the number of copies of data and content it stores around the world report said.

The company, which has struggled with losing subscribers and increasing competition from companies like Walt Disney Co (DIS.N) and Apple Inc (AAPL.O)She did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
