Nearly 20 fires reported along SR 79 near Oracle Junction

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – Crews are responding to around 20 fires off SR 79 near Oracle Junction on Friday, March 28.

The Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management said the fires are being worked as one incident and have been named the Saddlebrooke Fire.

ADFFM said the fires are along a 20-mile stretch of SR 79, from around mile post 96 to 114. As of 6:45 p.m., the fires ranged in size from 1/10 of an acre to 40 acres.
