What’s in there?

NASA’s Perseverance rover – a car-sized robot that carries an array of cameras and devices – sanded the surface of a Martian rock this week for a look inside. The space agency Pictures tweeted the clear traces of human exploration that have now been left on the desert planet: it’s a circular abrasion (and there are others too).
