NASA’s name for the Mars location where the newly arrived The “Octavia E. Butler Landing” is on top of the endurance rover.

The technically informal nickname comes from the scientists on the Perseverance mission team, who named the place after the celebrated author of several Hugo and Nebula sci-fi stories.
