Dear Allison and Amy Rose,

Several times a week, one of my best friends writes me AI-generated memes based on inside jokes or tells ChatGPT to turn us into something Drag Race Participant. I hate it and ignore it for the most part, but it doesn’t go away and it gets uncomfortable: When I see her, she asks me what I think about the 80s music video she “made” of “us.”

I’m surprised – she’s progressive, so I assumed she would be put off by the environmental consequences of AI. I don’t want to judge them, but I also believe that technology…
