Designing the data and AI strategy
Ashwin joined Macquarie in 2019 as Chief Data and AI Officer and has since played a central role in shaping and implementing the bank’s data and AI strategy.
During this time, Macquarie has grown into Australia’s fifth largest bank and uses data-driven decision-making to develop products and services that are better aligned with customers’ needs and expectations.
In his expanded role, Ashwin will oversee the deeper integration of data and AI insights into the design, development and delivery of Macquarie’s digital banking experiences. His responsibilities include how analytics influence product functionality, service innovation and customer engagement across digital channels.
The aim is to support the continued development of Macquarie’s platforms while improving personalization, speed and relevance for customers.
