Misconfigurations continue to plague cloud security, new reports say

A few years ago, Amazon Web Services (AWS) was affected by a number of high-profile, publicly known data breaches due to misconfigurations by users. New reports indicate that the problem persists in the industry to this day.

Back in the AWS round, a lot of misconfigurations were allowed Access to S3 bucketswhile others were dealing with it Firewall misconfigurations.

While the seemingly endless series of AWS reports has declined sharply since then, it’s a misconfiguration still a problem.
