IDeaS, a provider of hotel revenue management software and services, has reached a milestone with nearly 2,000 active properties on Oracle Hospitality Integration Platform (OHIP). The integration connects IDeaS RMS solutions, including G3 RMS, with Oracle’s OPERA Cloud platform, accessible through OHIP and Oracle Cloud Marketplace.
With a 25-year legacy of hospitality innovation, IDeaS and Oracle are approaching a milestone of 10,000 shared customers. The seamless connection of IDeaS G3 RMS to OPERA Cloud via OHIP has enabled faster deployments for hoteliers without direct intervention from Oracle.
Connected hotels have praised the increased efficiency, ease of integration, and faster interface provided by the platform. IDeaS currently connects between 50 and 100 hotels per week, allowing for rapid integration of future capabilities and additional solutions.
Oracle Cloud Marketplace serves as a centralized hub for Oracle customers seeking business applications that extend Oracle Cloud applications. Offering high performance and next-generation security, Oracle Cloud includes services like SaaS, application development, hosting, and analytics. Customers benefit from a range of services aimed at improving workloads, including compute, storage, security, integration, AI, and blockchain. Oracle Cloud also features the Autonomous Database, known as the industry’s first autonomous database.
Klaus Kohlmayr, Chief Evangelist and Chief Development Officer at IDeaS, emphasized the importance of the integration. He stated that the hotel industry has long desired faster data exchanges and greater capabilities to handle growing data volumes. He highlighted OHIP’s role in accelerating data exchange and facilitating the processing of 12 billion pricing decisions made by IDeaS daily. This innovation allows for faster collaboration as an Oracle partner, enabling smarter decisions and optimal results for hotel revenue management.
Laura Calin, vice president of Hotel Strategy and Solution Management at Oracle, also acknowledged the benefits of Oracle Cloud Marketplace. She described it as a repository of top hospitality software and services, allowing partners like IDeaS to leverage the self-service integration platform for scalable implementations and simplified support models.
The integration of IDeaS RMS solutions with Oracle’s OPERA Cloud platform through OHIP signifies progress for connected properties, offering faster deployments, improved efficiency, and simplified integration processes.
