Reuters reported Thursday that Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) has closed at least 15 branch offices and joint ventures in China over the past five years, a deliberate downsizing that accelerated in 2026. A Microsoft spokesperson told Reuters the company “remains committed to the Chinese market” and “has no current plans to exit.”.
