Amazon Illegally Storing Biometric Data, Ill. Suit Says


Law360 (January 6, 2020, 4:46 PM EST) — Microsoft is freshly prodding the Federal Communications Commission to refine the guidelines for using vacant gaps of TV-band spectrum to power rural broadband.

In a late December regulatory filing, the company asked the FCC to make good on Microsoft’s petition to draft proposed improvements to the rules for exploiting those gaps, otherwise known as white spaces, including a slate of technical changes that could make the services more effective while smoothing out disagreements with the broadcast industry over potential interference.
