UK and Ireland Microsoft partners are investing considerable time and money in marketing, but many still cannot demonstrate what it delivers. That is one of the clearest findings from Microsoft Partner Marketing, Measured, Resultful’s study of 250 UK&I Microsoft partner sales, marketing and business leaders, conducted independently by Censuswide.
Only 47% of partners currently undertake basic marketing reporting, while 43% use enhanced reporting with attribution. More significantly, 49% either cannot connect marketing activity to pipeline and revenue or are unsure whether they can. That measurement gap sits alongside considerable marketing activity. Partners currently undertake an average of nine of the 20 activities measured by the study and plan to add another eight over the next 12 months.
