Microsoft will lease a 900-megawatt data center site in Abilene, Texas, the company confirmed Friday. The site, developed by data center startup Crusoe, was originally intended for Oracle, which occupies other data centers on the site that Crusoe developed for the cloud provider. But Oracle and OpenAI, which rents Nvidia AI servers there from the Oracle Cloud, have left the newer location
