Global software giant Microsoft announced that its new data center in Hyderabad has gone live, enabling users in India to run eligible Microsoft Cloud services and workloads locally. This facility, built for the demands of the artificial intelligence (AI) era, provides organisations with more local choice to modernise critical systems and develop new digital services.With the general availability of the Hyderabad data center, Microsoft now operates four Cloud regions in India, including existing facilities in Pune, Chennai, and Mumbai. The Hyderabad facility integrates into the company’s global Cloud infrastructure, which spans over 500 data centers across 80 regions in 34 countries.
