Microsoft is rolling out the first major update for Windows 11


microsoft corp announced today that the Windows 11 2022 Update is now available unroll in more than 190 countries and brings several productivity, usability and security upgrades to its flagship computer operating system.

The update brings various fixes and refinements to the operating system, improves the Start menu, ditches some Windows 8-era UI designs, and adds some new touchscreen features. On the security side, there is a new password security feature. While there is nothing new that could be considered truly revolutionary, the update does help polish the new user experience that has been around introduced with Windows 11.

On the productivity side, one of the most noticeable upgrades might be the new drag-and-drop taskbar feature, which allows users to right-click and drag applications and documents in and out of the tray.
