Microsoft experienced a possible outage Thursday, with thousands of users reporting issues, according to Downdetector.com.
More than 2,000 users reported problems with Microsoft Outlook on Downdetector at the time of publication, along with more than 1,500 reports involving Microsoft 365 and nearly 300 each for the Microsoft Store and Microsoft Teams.
Most users reporting issues with Microsoft Outlook say they are having an issue with receiving messages.
The Microsoft 365 Status account on X issued a statement, “We’ve identified a portion of service infrastructure in North America that is not processing traffic as expected. We’re working to restore the infrastructure to a healthy state to achieve recovery.”

More than 8,750 users have reported issues with Microsoft Outlook, along with 6,700 for Microsoft 365, 1,000 for the Microsoft Store, and 800 for Microsoft Teams.
