Microsoft could be ready to launch a new cloud PC service in the week of July 12th. A placeholder for a meeting at the company’s Inspire conference mentions “Microsoft cloud solution to enable hybrid work“Suggesting an upcoming announcement ZDNet.

Specifically, this placeholder also mentions Scott Manchester from Microsoft as a speaker. He is currently responsible for a number of things related to cloud PCs and cloud computing. These include cloud-managed desktops as well as remote desktop services, second screen remoting, multimedia and network technologies.

Such a Microsoft service has been rumored for some time and is codenamed “Deschutes”. For those who are not familiar, the cloud pc service might be a bit like popular cloud pc streaming services like Shadow cloud computing.
