Microsoft Bing Maps finally gets route traffic coloring

Microsoft Bing Maps is finally getting route traffic coloring feature. Google Maps users will find it very familiar as Microsoft is using the same colors as Google. Blue color indicates no traffic delays, the orange and red colors highlight moderate to heavy traffic delays on the route. Like Google, Bing displays the color based on a combination of current traffic updates and predictions from historic data.

With Bing Maps new route coloring feature, you will know right away where the delays will be along your selected route so you can change your route, your plans or your destination based on the route ahead!

Bing Maps now highlights the ferry segment using dashes and the new route labels shows the travel mode, distance and time of each route. Also, Bing Maps now allows you to easily compare and toggle between the different routes.
