HEBRON, Ohio — Microsoft is looking to begin construction on a data center in Licking County in February.
According to the company’s website, Microsoft signed a contract with AMES Construction to build the data center in Hebron. It was one of three data centers the company announced in 2024 to build as part of a $1 billion investment.
The two other proposed locations for the data centers were New Albany and Heath.
Last year, Microsoft pushed back plans to build the data centers in Licking County as officials evaluated whether the sites aligned with the investment strategy.
