Microsoft and ACTU Host First-Ever Workforce Summit to Adopt AI to Address Practical, Employee-Centered Workplace Transformation – Source Asia

Microsoft and the Australian Council of Trade Unions (ACTU) today convened a workforce summit in Sydney to discuss how artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming work and advance practical approaches that put workers’ voices and skills at the heart of AI adoption in Australia.

The summit is part of ongoing work under the Framework Agreement signed by the ACTU and Microsoft Australia earlier this year, which sets out a commitment to dialogue and collaboration to amplify workers’ voices and strengthen their skills as AI and other new technologies are introduced into Australian workplaces.

As part of the framework agreement, Microsoft and the ACTU are working together in three key areas:
