AI audits from Meta (formerly Facebook)? As I was catching up on all the tech news this weekend, something caught my eye. Meta will now conduct AI audits, not for customers, but to assess the performance of their employees.
They will start in 2025, albeit on a more manual basis, but will be supplemented in 2026 with AI assistants that can help with the performance of each employee using AI tools.
Why did I notice this? I think this will become a trend in the technology world, where companies are now moving from AI for good looks to AI for business results. I wrote a Forbes article about ROI and AI that received a lot of feedback. People told me it was too early to look for real results.
Well, it seems that we are now ready to look at the results that the use of AI brings to the party.
