MBP 13″ 2020 or 16″ 2019 for virtualization

I am a pc science scholar (twelfth grade) and I would like a pocket book for virtualization – about 3 VMs on the similar time for lab assessments – and my finances is restricted – about 1150€.
I discovered 2 MacBook Professional offers:

*) MBP 2019 2.3GHz i9 (octa core) – 16GB RAM – 1050€
*) MBP 2020 2.3GHz i7 (quad core) – 32GB RAM – 1100€

I might select a MacBook over a Home windows/Linux machine for the ecosystem and aesthetics/appears to be like alone.
One other vital side is that I need to examine cybersecurity (5 years) and do not actually need to purchase one other machine if e.g. B. the 2019 MBP might be out of date in 2-3 years.

My query is, would it not make sense to get one of many above, or ought to I get a strong 8 core 32GB Home windows machine that might price me round €850-1100?
