Mark Cuban’s Gmail account breached following fake call from Google; Internet users respond

American businessman and Shark Tank judge Mark Cuban had his Gmail account hacked by someone named ‘noah’ who spoofed Google’s recovery methods. He warned his followers to be cautious of any emails received after 3:30 pm PST on Saturday from his account. In a post on X, Cuban called out Google’s CEO, Sundar Pichai, for failing to prevent the hack. Internet users speculated that the hack may have been due to a fake simulator with a counterfeit Google number. Some questioned Google’s role in the incident, pointing out that phone numbers can be spoofed and blaming social engineering rather than Google’s security. Others made light of the situation, commenting on Cuban’s age or joking about him being a Russian agent. Despite the hack, Cuban continues to be active on social media and recently launched an AI app in India with support for multiple languages.
