A June survey of storage VAR market sentiments shows growing demand for core infrastructure renewals as the US economy reopens and ransomware becomes a major concern.
William Blair analyst Jason Ader creates a quarterly VAR enterprise tracker. It’s worth paying attention to because it sheds light on the storage market in general and five vendors – Commvault, NetApp, Nutanix, Pure Storage, and VMware – in particular.
Ader’s second quarterly poll, polling 115 VARs, says to subscribers, “Interest in Commvault technology continues to be fueled by prominent ransomware attacks, with VARs also discovering a newfound energy in the company. NetApp has strong profit rates as more and more customers appreciate the company’s revamped solutions, particularly around cloud services. “
