David Solomon, CEO of Goldman Sachs, says no one knows how artificial intelligence will evolve and warns that the speed of change is likely to make people uncomfortable.

Speaking at the Australian Financial Review Business Summit, Solomon said governments and businesses needed to put guardrails in place as technology continued to develop.

“People fundamentally don’t like change, and the pace of that change is going to make people uncomfortable, and it’s our responsibility to work together and try to do the best we can and learn as we go, because we’re all dealing with things that are new to all of us,” he said.
