now more vacant Microsoft campus become the long-hoped-for Fargo Convention Center.
Really?
Before jumping on the bandwagon, it would be best to tour the buildings. No way any of it becomes a hotel facility. Creating new bathrooms with tub, shower, heatlamps, floor-to-ceiling mirrors and coffee bar would break you financially, just for starters. Convention seating for 5,000? Isn’t gonna happen. Restaurant facilities? It’s OK if you want to stand in line for a stand-up buffet.
Nice parking lots, but its not public transportation-friendly unless you want to reroute city streets and create new interstate on and off ramps. Local shopping opportunities? Yeah, if you’re looking for a Mac truck or gardening supplies.
