British bicycle technology start-up Leopard Tech launched its Bicycle Safety and Security Survey 2021 to get a wide range of views from cyclists around the world on their attitudes towards bicycle theft, prevention and rider safety.
This year will also focus on the recruitment of cyclists during the pandemic and what impact this will have on their bike use, mental health and what needs to be done to improve cities and towns to make all cyclists feel safe and secure.
James Robertson, Director of Marketing at Leopard Tech, said, “Our safety survey last year received thousands of responses from cyclists in over 20 countries, and we hope we can do more this year.
“As an industry, we know that improving the safety of cyclists is one of the most important ways to encourage greater cycling, and through this and similar surveys, we want to hear cyclists’ opinion on how this should be achieved.”
