Broadcom CEO Hock Tan told employees in an email last week following the company’s acquisition of VMware that it would review “strategic alternatives” of two of its business units.
Broadcom closed the $69 billion deal on November 22. Tan said that Broadcom would continue to support the End-User Computing and Carbon Black cybersecurity units while reviewing these alternatives, according to a copy of the email, first reported by CRN and viewed by Business Insider.
