Leading AI researcher warns Australia is falling behind on security and investment – ABC is listening

Investments flood the artificial intelligence sector; Big tech companies like Alphabet, Amazon, Meta and Microsoft are expected to spend around $650 billion on AI infrastructure this year alone.

This emerges from an analysis by the American investment management company Bridgewater Associates.

And as investment increases, there is growing concern that technology is rapidly outpacing regulatory and environmental standards.
