Oracle announced that KDDI Corporation, Japan’s second-largest telecommunications company and AU mobile phone service operator, has selected Oracle to support a major upgrade of its core charging and rating platform.
To reduce operating costs and accelerate service innovation through resilient, AI-enabled infrastructure, KDDI is replacing its legacy system with Oracle Cloud Scale Charging and Billing running on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), in addition to leveraging other complementary Oracle solutions.
As part of its growth strategy, KDDI will leverage the cloud-native Oracle Cloud Scale Charging and Billing solution. Therefore, KDDI intends to provide its customers with personalized, insights-based experiences powered by Oracle to help increase, streamline and manage revenue flow across different business models.
