The Afghan government has announced that it will cover the capital, Kabul, with high-tech security cameras as crime and security threats increase daily.

Amrullah Saleh, the first vice president of Afghanistan, said in a statement that the city of Kabul is covered by surveillance cameras.

Saleh said the project could cost $ 100 million funded by the Resolute Support Mission in Afghanistan.

This is because the security situation in Kabul city has recently deteriorated due to an increase in crime and violence.
