Nest Doorbell owners can now use the roll out new holiday ringtones for Google best smart doorbells, including the battery-powered and wired (formerly Nest Hello) versions of the Nest doorbell.

Like last year, the new holiday ringtones include Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, New Year, Winter, and Christmas. Unlike in previous years, however, this time around, these ringtones are free with no Nest Aware subscription required.

Each theme features different tones, including Jingle Bells, Winter Sleighbells, Ma’oz Tzur, Hanukkah Dreidel, and Auld Lang Syne. The Nest Doorbells will ring these tones when your visitors press them. You can listen to these bells in the video below:

But it’s not just your visitors who can listen to them: the whole family can use the visitor announcement function, the smart speakers or Nest Hubs to play the ring options indoors.

You can set up your holiday ringtones using the Google Home app or the Nest app. However, these ringtones will disappear after January 4, 2022. The Nest Doorbell (battery) is only compatible with the Google Home app, so if you have an older one. If you have a doorbell model, you must use the Nest app.
