After the New York Times story was published, Guss, Ozair and about three dozen other people updated their LinkedIn profiles to indicate their affiliation with Bezos’ company. Some of these people also work at Foresite Labs.
Details on Prometheus remain limited. The founding date, official name and headquarters have not been publicly disclosed. But the dinner Bajaj hosted in June provided further clues.
At least two other prominent guests that evening, including former Nvidia senior research scientist Kamyar Azizzadenesheli, quietly joined Prometheus earlier this year, according to their recently updated LinkedIn profiles.
Ashish Vaswani and Jakob Uszkoreit, two former Google researchers who co-authored a famous AI paper, were unable to attend the dinner. However, according to LinkedIn and a person familiar with the matter, both are now founding advisors to Prometheus while also running their own startups. None of the researchers responded to requests for comment.
